Joyce J. Hook, 80, of Rock Island, died Thursday, September 16, 2010 at her residence with her family by her side.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, September 20, 2010 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be held from 2 - 4 P.M. on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the family.
Joyce was born on May 27, 1930 in Moline to Horace and Alise Loe Bailey. She married Earnest Hook on February 14, 1954 in East Moline. There were very happily married for 56 years.
Joyce enjoyed gardening, knitting, fishing and camping. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
