Joyce Irene Smith

Joyce Irene Smith, 75, of Moline, IL, passed away, December 8, 2024, at Aspen Rehab & Health Care, Silvis.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline are assisting the family. Memorials may be made to the family. 

Joyce was born on April 8, 1949, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Ruth (Bell) and Raymond Mital. She married John Smith on April 20, 1968, in Moline. Joyce worked as a photo specialist for Walgreens for 20 years. She enjoyed doing yardwork, gardening, painting tole (tin), and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, John Smith; son, Robert Smith; grandchildren, Olivia and Abigail; siblings, Kenneth Mital and Kevin Mital; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Raymond; son, Jeffrey Smith; siblings, Janice Mital, Linda Grizzle, and Larry Mital.
