Judith M. Hammerberg, age 64, of Moline, died Thursday, August 25, 2011 at her residence.
Memorial Services will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Ave., Moline.
Judy was born March 12, 1947 in Greencastle, IN, the daughter of James and Elsie McNeff. She married Richard G. "Rick" Hammerberg on July 24, 1994 in Greencastle, IN. He preceded her in death on May 26, 2007.
Judy was "Mom" to many. She often opened her heart and her home to those who needed a warm bed or a shoulder to cry on. She loved her pets, especially her dog Zeus. Judy enjoyed bird watching and nature, including two chipmunks that inhabited her yard. She liked to watch "Law and Order" and the "Stargate" series. Her favorite movie was "The Abyss".
