Judith K. Smith, 78, of Milan, IL, died Saturday, December 10, 2016, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2016, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Judith was born on October 9, 1938, in Cape Girardeau, MO, the daughter of Rufus and Cora Slinkard Lindsay. She married Willis H. Smith on October 13, 1957, in Hernando, MS.
Judith and her husband, Willis, were the owners and operators of Floral Connection. She especially loved making floral arrangements and bows. More than anything, Judith loved spending time with her grandchildren and following their activities.
Survivors include her husband, Willis Smith; daughter, Shanan (Kevin) Pettifer, East Moline, IL, and Christal (Alan) Falk, Hillsdale, IL; son, Kyle Smith, Moline, IL; 3 grandchildren, Devin Pettifer, Austin, TX, Lindsay Pettifer, East Moline, IL, Nicole Falk, Hillsdale, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Lindsay; sister, Joyce Clifton.
