Judy Muhleman

Judy Muhleman, 81, of Moline, passed away, August 4, 2024, at Charter Senior Living, Moline.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Western Township Cemetery, Orion. After services, the family invites all family and friends to share memories at “The O Kitchen & Tap” in Orion (Food is available for purchase if desired). Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Orion are assisting the family. Memorials may be made to the family.

Judy was born on April 9, 1943, in Moline, the daughter of Mildred L. (Barton) and George W. Sonnenburg. She married Marvin Keith “Marv” Muhleman on May 17, 1964, in Orion, IL. He preceded her in death on September 15, 2020. Judy worked as a Senior Engineer Analyst for John Deere at the Parts Distribution Center in Milan, IL for about 43 years. Judy enjoyed sewing, stained glass, and boating in New Boston. Judy was a member of the Orion United Methodist Church and active with United Way. She was the treasurer, on the board and in charge of approval at Lake Warren in Monmouth, IL. Judy, alongside her husband Marvin, were both first responders in Gerlaw, IL.

Survivors include her sons, Rick and Ryan Muhleman; grandchildren, Hannah, Reece, Cheyenne, Skyler, Wyatt, and Addalyn Muhleman; sisters, Donna Rossi, Georgia and Randy Baldridge .

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin, grandchildren Mya and Dylan, and brother-in-law Dave Rossi.
