Julius J. Garcia, 84 of Moline died May 29, 2005 at his daughter's home.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2005 at Esterdahl Mortuary, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be at St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Pathway Hospice.
Julius was born April 12, 1921 in Omaha, NE to Joseph and Lenor Garcia. He married Virginia Padilla in 1945 in Moline, IL.
Julius worked for John Deere Plow Planter for 41 years retiring September 29, 1982.
Julius was a Navy veteran. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid Cubs fan.
