Karen Margaret Critchfield, 72, of Silvis, passed away on August 4, 2016 at her residence.
A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the National Cemetery on the Rock Island Arsenal. Those wishing to attend should meet at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601 38 Avenue, Moline by 9:15a.m. Following the services at the Arsenal, a memorial gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the McGehee Center (Schadt Park), Silvis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Karen was born on October 19, 1943 in Davenport, Iowa the daughter of Edward Brice and Corrine Dorathea Shaw Harmon. She married Obiedeah Sherman Critchfield on October 14, 1961 in Davenport, Iowa, he preceded her in death on May 10, 2012.
Karen was employed by Eagle Signal and as a waitress at the Family Square Restaurant. She loved sewing, quilting and doing crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Obiedeah and her daughter, Rebecca Elaine.
