Karen P. Ekstrand, age 66, of Moline, died Saturday, August 23, 2008 at her home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August, 28, 2008 at Salem Lutheran Church, Moline. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church, Moline.
Karen was born February 24, 1942 in Moline, the daughter of Harry T. and R. Vendla (Graflund) Ekstrand.
Karen was employed as a cashier at Casino Rock Island for 10 years. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Moline, where she had served in the Bell Choir. She enjoyed craft making, watching movies, crossword puzzles and spending time with her children and four grandchildren.
