Karen Kay Nitzel, 64, of Silvis died April 25, 2007 at her home.
Funeral services will be 11a.m. Monday, April 30, 2007 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
Karen was born February 3, 1943 in Burlington, IA to Cecil and Leona Bence Remaly. She married Carl Nitzel in 1965 in Moline.
Karen worked in marketing and local advertising.
She is survived by
Sons Adam Nitzel and his son Ryan Moline
Aaron (Andrea) Nitzel and their children
Jaycob, Hannah and Zachary Coal Valley
Father Cecil Remaly Silvis
Brother Jim (Gail) Remaly Bettendorf
Sister Cheryl (Joe) Proulx Coal Valley
She was preceded in death by her mother and grandson Alec Nitzel.
