Kasandra A. Martinez, 21 of Moline, IL, died Tuesday, August 5, 2013 at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Iowa City, IA from injuries sustained in a residential fire.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Calvary Church of the Quad Cities, 4700 53rd Street, Moline. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m., at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd. 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Private family burial will be at a later date at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family.
Kasandra was born on October 9, 1991 in Moline, the daughter of Ruben Jr. and Dolores Raya Martinez. She was attending Blackhawk Community College, while working as a housekeeper at the Fairfield Inn Davenport. Kasandra loved making videos with her sister and brother. She loved flowers and making floral arrangements, she also enjoyed her dancing and Zumba classes and hanging out with friends. Above all she loved God, her family, friends, and boyfriend, Omar Garcia.
She is survived by her Mother and Father
