Keene "Bud" O. Enders, 93, of Orion, IL died Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Hope Creek Nursing Home, East Moline, IL.
A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at National Cemetery at Rock Island Arsenal. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., 1301 4th Street, Orion, IL. Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
Keene was born on December 29, 1918 in Dowagiac, MI the son of Otis and Ethel (Keene) Enders. He married Virginia C. Morrison on March 4, 1946 in Chicago, IL. She preceded him in death on June 12, 1986. Keene was a Navy Veteran of WWII. He worked as the District Manager for Eagle Food Stores for 37 years, retiring in 1982. He liked spending his time golfing and fishing.
