Keith Edward Loe Bailey

Keith Edward Loe Bailey, 90, of East Moline, IL, passed on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at UnityPoint Health Trinity in Rock Island.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 20, 2023, at Pathway Church QCA 4330 12th Ave, Moline. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Private burial will be at the Erie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pathway Church QCA.

He was born in Moline, IL on December 27, 1932, to Horace Edward and Alise (Loe) Bailey. Keith graduated from United Township High School and then completed machinist training at Moline Tool Company. He served in the Army for 2 years, stationed in Korea for 1 year. After returning from Korea, Keith married Carol Jean Ashdown of Erie, IL, on December 2, 1956. Keith worked for the Rock Island Arsenal for over 30 years before retiring in 1993. Keith was a long-time member and Elder at Community Christian Church which is now Pathway Church QCA. He collected M&M dispensers, personalized pictures out of cartoons, and was a John Wayne fan.

Keith is survived by his wife; his 4 children, Alisa (Bob) Clary, Edd (Nancy Baldwin) Bailey, Sharon (Tim) Snyder, and Keith Alan (Kelley) Bailey; 13 grandchildren, David (Katie) Clary, Jon (Mackenzie) Clary, Ann Clary, Damon (Natasha) Bailey, Avery (Hannah Koenig) Bailey, Harrison Bailey, Karen (CJ) Cervantes, Danielle (Eric) Scott, Joe (Ashley) Snyder, Meredith (James) Wagner, Trevor Bailey, Parker Bailey, Jacob Bailey; 14 great grandchildren, Max & Vanessa Clary, Julia, Cadence, Kora, Stellan & Beaux Bailey, Charlie, Santana & Frankiana Cervantes, Skylar Scott, Sophia Snyder, Savannah & Juan Wagner; and sister-in-law, Barbara Bailey.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, brother (Dennis Bailey), sister (Joyce Hook) and an infant brother.
