Keith W. "Sparky" Robinson

Keith. "Sparky" W. Robinson, age 89, of Andover, died Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Trinity, Rock Island and went to heaven to be with his loving wife in time for her 85th birthday which will be on Monday, April 25, 2011.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. 1301 4th Street, Orion. Visitation is from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial is at Western Township Cemetery, Orion. Memorials may be made to the family.
Sparky was born November 18, 1921 in Andover, the son of Oliver H. and Ethel Scott Robinson. He married Mary Elizabeth Forbes on November 18, 1955 in Cambridge. She preceded him in death on January 29, 2011.
Sparky was employed at International Harvester for 35 years, retiring in 1981. He also worked on many farms in the area. In his spare time, Sparky cut and delivered wood for people. Sparky was a World War II army veteran. In his younger years, he drove a stock car. Sparky loved tractors, and was a collector of various things. He also enjoyed hosting his own Fireworks display.
