Keith "Cheese" A. Lemburg

Keith “Cheese” A. Lemburg, 59, of Moline, IL, died Wednesday, December 07, 2016, at home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. with a visitation one and a half hours prior to the service on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline.  Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Foundation (Neurology), P.O. Box 4550, Iowa City, IA, 52244-4550.

Keith was born on March 28, 1957, in Davenport, IA, the son of William E. and Betty A. Speth Lemburg.  He married Renee F. Bollaert on September 19, 1981, in Moline.  His first job during high school was Jewel Food Store.  He went on to work as a broker for Alex Pesses in Rock Island.  Later, he worked as a food sales representative for KeHe Food Distribution, resigning in 2008.

Keith enjoyed going fishing, duck hunting, and golfing.  He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and Indy car races.  For 30 years in a row, Keith attended Indy car races.  He loved sports and was a huge Chicago Cubs fan.  Also, Keith liked to spend time in his garden and traveling.  He was very skilled at carpentry and woodworking.

Survivors include his wife, Renee Lemburg; daughter, Stefanie (Clark) Lemburg-Miljush, Moline, IL; father, William Lemburg, Bettendorf, IA; sister, Cheryl (Dennis) Lemburg-Timmerman, Davenport, IA; brother, Kevin Lemburg, Bettendorf, IA.

He was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Randy; sister, Karen Lemburg; grandparents.
