Kenneth L. "Kenny" Erickson

Kenneth L. "Kenny" Erickson, age 83, of East Moline, died Saturday, March 12, 2011 at his residence.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial is at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Trinity Pathway Hospice.
Kenny was born March 28, 1927 in Moline, the son of Hugo and Maude Rinehart Erickson. He married Betty Pheiffer on June 22, 1948 in Pickett, AR.
Kenny was employed as a pipe fitter for the Rock Island Railroad for 29 years, retiring in 1980. He was a World War II army veteran. Kenny enjoyed woodworking, and fishing.
