Kenneth F. Moody, 83, of Orion died Thursday January 15, 2004.
Services will be 11:00 am Monday January 19, 2004 at Augustana Lutheran Church, Andover, IL. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service time. Burial will be at Andover Cemetery, Andover. Memorials may be made to Augustana Lutheran Church or Oak Glen Nursing Home Auxiliary.
Kenneth was born on November 29, 1920 in Henry County, IL to Frank and Rachel Nelson Moody. He married Mary Jane Oswald on February 4, 1945 in Rock Island County.
Kenneth was employed at International Harvester and also farmed at the same time. After retiring from International Harvester in 1982, Kenneth continued to farm and also sold FASCO Feed in Mendota, IL.
Kenneth was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church, a former church council and also a former member of the church building committee. He was a member of the Thor Lodge #9 I.O.V. He was a die hard cubs fan and loved going to the Cubs spring training camp in Mesa, AZ. He was a NASCAR fan and also a fan of both the Fighting Illini and the Chicago Bears.
