KERSTIN SHANNEL TAYLOR, 23, of Moline, died of natural causes on Thursday, July 29, 2010, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb, Illinois.
Funeral services will be 1:00 on August 6th, 2010 at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, 2601 15th Street, Moline. Visitation will from 11:00a.m. to service time at the church. Memorials may be made to the church or to Campus Students for Christ Western Illinois Chapter. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family with arrangements.
Kerstin was born June 17, 1987 in Moline to William and Flora (Ellis) Taylor.
She graduated from Moline High School in 2005 and continued her educational pursuit at Black Hawk College. She was currently a senior at Western Illinois University Macomb Campus, majoring in Special Education with a minor in psychology. In addition to being a student, Kerstin was very active in missions work with Campus Students for Christ, traveling to many U.S. States and abroad. She was also employed at Sherman Hall at the Western Illinois University Campus.
Kerstin is survived by her parents, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
