Kevin Charles Babbitt, 53, of Moline, IL, died Sunday, May 22, 2016, in Moline.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Pine Hill Cemetery in Davenport, IA.
Kevin was born on August 28, 1962, in Davenport, IA, the son of Richard Clyde and Stella Katheryn Davis Babbitt, Sr. He was a graduate of Central High School, Scott Community College, and the former Mary Crest College. He worked as an accounting supervisor for 26 years for the Butterworth Center.
Survivors include his mother, Stella Katheryn Babbitt; sisters, Cynthia Babbitt, Iowa City, IA, Nancy (Tim) Weidenhamer, NC; special niece, Jamie Scanlan, Davenport, IA, and many other nieces, grandnieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins; best friends, Maguel Herrera, Moline, IL, and Marilyn Williams, Moline, IL, and many other friends, including those from the Butterworth Center.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father, Richard Babbitt, Sr.; and sister, Brenda Cramm.
