L. Bernice Anderson, 95 of Moline died November 19, 2006 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
A graveside service will be 3:30 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2006 at Memorial Park, Rock Island. Anyone who wishes to attend may meet at the mausoleum in the cemetery. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is handling arrangements.
Bernice was born June 19, 1911 in Meredosia, IL to Fred and Iva Pauline (Jones) Grimsley. She married Horace King Anderson on December 31, 1930 in Moline. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2001.
She was a resident of Long Beach, California for 61 years, returning to the Quad-Cities in 1998.
Survivors include her sister Pat Rolofson, Clinton, IL; sister-in-law Ruth Rosenberg, Moline; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters and three brothers.
Bernice's family would like to thank the Rosewood nurses, aides, and administration for over five years of loving care she received.
