Larry J. Reinhart, 67, of Andover, died September 17, 2009 at his home in Andover. Larry loved to teach history and now he is a part of it.
Funeral services will be 10:00a. m. Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Augustana Lutheran Church, Andover. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, at the church. Burial will be in Andover Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Augustana Lutheran Church or Cambridge Ambulance. Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Larry was born January 6, 1942 at home in Fisher, IL to James and Neva (Smiley) Reinhart. He married Sally Funk on June 13, 1965 in Roanoke, IL.
Larry was a teacher at John Deere Middle School teaching Geography and Social Studies. He later taught History and AP History at Moline High School. He taught for 34 years only missing 5 days of work. He retired in 1999.
Larry enjoyed tending to his thirteen gardens. He was known to do everything by hand. He also enjoyed traveling to all the places that he taught his students about in class. Larry was an avid Cubs fan and always said "the Cubs can't stand success."

Regina (Bill) Niebrugge Highland, IL
Grandchildren Hailey, Sophie, Lily and Luci
Brother Richard Reinhart Gibson City, IL
Many nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents and his three sisters Betty, Eleanor and an infant sister Nancy.
