Leland Charles Johnson, 88 fomerly of Lynn Center died June 30, 2005 at the Illinois Veteran's Home, Quincy, IL.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2005 with a visitation one hour prior to service time at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., Orion. Burial will be at Lutheran Cemetery, Orion with military honors conducted by American Legion Post #255. Memorials may be made to Andover Lutheran Church or Orion American Legion Post 255.
Leland was born March 30, 1917 in Osco, IL to Harry David and Edna Olivia (Gustafson) Johnson. His wife Wilma preceded him in death on January 5, 1975.
Leland was a tank repairer for the Rock Island Arsenal. He was an AirForce veteran serving from December 13, 1941- February 5, 1946.
Leland was a member of the Orion American Legion Post 255. He loved the outdoors and traveling.
