Leo William Lenane II, age 59, of LeClaire, died Saturday, July 2, 2011 at his residence.
Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation and time to celebrate Leo's life is from 1:00 - 3:00 on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Memorials may be made to Genesis VNA Hospice Program.
Leo was born August 3, 1951, in Quincy, IL, the son of Donald and Virginia Mills Lenane. He married his high school sweetheart, Donna Willer on April 2, 1971 in Quincy.
Leo started his career in warehousing in 1971 with Stover Air Cargo in Quincy. He owned and operated The Lucas Line in Ipava, IL. In 1984, he moved his family to the Quad Cities, and for the last 25 years he worked in warehousing, most recently with Olsen Engineering in Eldridge, IA. Leo enjoyed "His" Cleveland Browns, The Cubs, boating on the river, and fast cars. He was a "Man's" Man. Leo loved time spent with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
