Leola E. Kurtenbach

Leola E. Kurtenbach, 87, of Milan, died March 13, 2007 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 7p.m. Friday, March 16, 2007 with a visitation from 4-6:30 p.m. at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., Orion. Inurnment will be at Western Township Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.
Leola was born July 19, 1919 in rural Geneseo, IL to Henry and Martha Boehm Erdmann. She married Mathias Kurtenbach on August 2, 1939 in Rock Island.
Leola was raised on a farm in rural Geneseso and loved helping out her family with the everyday chores. She and her husband later ran their own farm for more than 30 years in Rural Township. She enjoyed quilting, fishing, arts and crafts and traveling.
