Leona E. Miller, age 64 of Silvis died Saturday, April 15, 2006 at Trinity Medical Center-West Campus, Rock Island.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Private family burial will be at a later date. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline is assisting the family.
Leona was born May 15, 1941 in Stockton, KS the daughter of John and Gladys Edson O'Connor. She married Curtis L. Miller on March 26, 1961 in Scott City, KS. He preceded her in death.
Leona was employed as a cook at Sharon's Family Restaurant for 30 years retiring in 2000. She was a member of Northcrest Calvary Baptist Church. Leona enjoyed camping, playing Bingo, quilting and doing crafts. She especially enjoyed reading her Bible.
