Leota May Parker, 75, of Aledo, died Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Trinity Rock Island
Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. 1301 4th Street, Orion. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M., Monday, December 27, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Western Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
Leota was born on February 8, 1935 in Waterloo, Iowa to Raymond George and Elsie May Kramer Parker. She married Merle Eugene Smith in October of 1950 in Nashua, Iowa. She later married Robert A. Parker on August 5, 1961 in Burlington, Iowa. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2010.
Leota was employed as a seamstress at Seaford Clothing Company in Rock Island from 1969 to 1997.
