Lesley L. Larson, 84, of Naples, FL. passed away Friday, September 25, 2009, after a long illness.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL.
Lesley was born on August 18, 1925 in Moline, IL. He was employed by International Harvester Company. He moved to FL. In 1961; there he owned Larson and Sons Electrical Company where he worked as an electrician for many years. As well, he was a motel owner and operator in Naples, FL.
Lesley is survived by two children: James Larson and Marlene (Ronnie) Anderson, both of Naples. He had six grandchildren: Jeff, Doug, Michelle, Christine, Elizabeth, and Brock, fourteen great grandchildren, and three sisters: Rose Clark, Violet Coussens, and Mary Smith, all from the Quad Cities area.
Lesley L. Larson was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie A. Larson, sons, Daniel (Cathie) Larson, Ronald (Carole) Larson, daughter Judith (Samuel) Black, sister Mildred Crack, and parents Alfred and Florence Larson.
