Lester Fulton, 76, of Orion, IL, died Saturday, November 3, 2012, at Trinity Rock Island.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012, at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, 1301 4th Street, Orion. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m., Friday, November 9, 2012, at the funeral Home. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Prophetstown, IL. Memorials may be made to his family.
Lester was born on June 6, 1936 in Winterset, IA, the son of Lester W. and Vera B. (Manning) Fulton. He married Darla Reddick on June 6, 1994 in Rock Island, IL. Lester was a U.S. Army veteran and worked as a Bus Driver for Mass Transit of the Quad Cities where he sat on the Mass Transit Union Board. Lester also worked for John Deere as well as the Greater Quad City Car Auction as a Driver. He was a very active member of Andalusia Baptist Church. Lester was a former stock car driver, a huge NASCAR fan, and also a fan of the Bears and the Cubs.
