Lila J. Joiner, 75, of Milan, IL, died Saturday, July 16, 2016, at St. Anthony’s Nursing and Rehab Center, Rock Island, IL.
A family directed memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2016, at St. Anthony’s Nursing Home Chapel. Memorials may be made to the family. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Lila was born on February 17, 1941, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Robert Elmer and Lena J Danner Lance. She married Willis H. Joiner on March 15, 1963, in Moline, IL, and he preceded her in death in 2010.
Lila worked in manufacturing at Eagle’s Warehouse and at Wendy’s for 12 years. She was a member of Heritage Wesleyan and Bible Missionary.
Survivors include her sons, James (Beth) Kirby and Terry L. Kirby; daughter, Teresa Joiner; brothers, Dean (Jean) Lance and Marion (Vera) Lance; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willis; brother, Stan Lance; sister, Margie Kozelyski.
