Linda K. White, 68, of Moline, passed away Friday, July 31, 2020, at Unity Point Health Trinity Bettendorf.
A public visitation will be Monday, August 3, 2020 from 4-7 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. In accordance with restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a face mask and observe social distancing. A private funeral will be on Tuesday and the service will be live streamed at esterdahl.com. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family to help defray costs.
Linda was born on March 5, 1952 in Quincy, Illinois the daughter of Jack L. and Patricia A. Dodd Sheffler. She married James in April of 1975 in Rock Island and he preceded her in death in 2016. Linda was employed for 30 years in the lunch room at Garfield and Jane Addams grade schools in Moline. She later stocked Hallmark cards at various stores around the Quad Cities. Linda enjoyed country music and traveling to Branson, Missouri but above all she loved her family and attending their activities.
Survivors include her children, Heather White of Moline, and David (Theresa) Barber of Bettendorf; mother, Patricia Sheffler, Moline; grandchildren Alton and Ebby.
She was preceded in death by her husband and father.
