Lisa L. Herman, age 48, of Moline, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at home after a brief courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is Friday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Private family burial will be held at Moline Memorial Park at a later date. Memorials may be made to a memorial fund for her daughter's education.
Lisa Lynn James was born on April 26, 1962 in Detroit, MI, to Don and Jo Anne Fisher James. She was united in marriage on September 21, 1996 to the love of her life, Joseph Herman.
Lisa graduated from United Township High School. She attended Marycrest College and Black Hawk College. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moline and Two Rivers YMCA. Lisa has been employed as a credit manager at Von Maur's Corporate Office for the last nine years. Lisa's family meant everything to her. She was an avid reader. She loved to camp and travel to her truest passion, Lighthouses.
