Lisa (Laws) Menne, 49, of New Prague, MN and formerly of Moline, passed away May 26, 2009 at St. Gertrude's in Shakopee, MN with her family by her side.
A memorial service will be held on June 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd, 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Memorials preferred to the family or the Anna Menne Education Fund or to a charity of your choice.
Lisa was born on February 27, 1960 in Moline the daughter of Charles and Carol Johnson Laws. She married Scott Menne in Moline on May 25, 1991.
Lisa graduated from Moline High School in 1978 and from William Woods College in Fulton, MO where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. Lisa was employed in the accounting field. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in New Prague, MN. Lisa enjoyed horses, her cats and dogs, gardening and was very artistic. She loved beaches and travel, but most important she loved spending time with her family, especially her daughter Anna.
Survivors include her husband Scott and daughter Anna of New Prague, MN; her parents of Moline; her sister Gretchen (James) McLaughlin of Moline; her grandmother Lorette Johnson of Moline; her mother-in-law Beverly (Gordon) Roy of Mankato, MN and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and sisters and brothers-in-law in Minnesota and the Quad City area.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Helen and Leon Laws, her grandfather Harold Johnson and her father-in-law Eugene Menne.
