Lloyd Raymond Richardson, age 94, of Moline, died Friday, February 8, 2008 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church or Alzheimer's Treatment and Research Center. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline is assisting the family.
Lloyd was born May 11, 1913 in Knife River, MN the son of Hugh and Edith (Hall) Richardson. He married Margaret Eleanor Skadberg on September 28, 1940 in Knife River. She preceded him in death on June 8, 1973. He then married Gisele Elise Maulny Leaf on October 18, 1975 in Moline.
Lloyd was employed as a pattern maker with Moline Modern Pattern Works for over 20 years retiring in 1978. He also was employed at J.I. Case Company. Lloyd was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Moline. He enjoyed bowling, golf, and touring the states with Gisele in their RV. Lloyd built 2 houses by himself, the first of which he lived in for over 60 years. Lloyd took great pride in his family and they in him.
