Lois A. Engstrom

Lois A. Engstrom, age 60, died Saturday, November 25, 2006, at her home in East Moline, Illinois. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 10, 2006 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Moline. Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Lois was born April 23, 1946 in rural Williamsburg Iowa, the daughter of Arnold and Loretta (Wille) Heitshusen. She married Pere Engstrom on May 1, 1971 in Williamsburg. Lois was employed as a nurse for 39 years, working mostly at Genesis Medical Center and retiring on September 1, 2006. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Moline. She collected bells and enjoyed trips to Arizona. Survivors include her husband Pere Engstrom; brother Wayne (Jan) Heitshusen of Manchester, Iowa; sister Phyllis (Craig) Chapman of West Des Moines, Iowa; numerous nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law Lynn Seeber of Moline, Illinois.
