Lois P. Hoover,93, of Rock Island died October 9, 2006 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Per her wishes, her body has been donated to science for medical research. There will be no services. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline is assisting the family
Lois was born May 13, 1913 in Gillespie, IL to Mr. & Mrs. Henry. She married Charles Hoover in 1932.
Lois had been employed as a cook working for Dutch Inn and the Stardust. She retired in 1992.
Lois was a member of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, Rock Island. She volunteered as a Grey Lady with the American Red Cross where she packed polio patients. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking and she loved her cats.

Son James Hoover
Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren
Sister Helen Hoover Sterling, IL
She was preceded in death by her husband, son Robert Hoover and two brothers.
