Lori L. Christiansen, 61, of East Moline, IL, died Sunday, July 17, 2016, at Rosewood Care Center, Moline, IL.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2016, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to the family.
Lori was born on July 2, 1955, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Glenn and Joan Rosengren Wilkins. She graduated from United Township High School. She married Gary Christiansen on June 20, 1986, in Rock Island, IL.
Lori loved to read, put puzzles together, and spend time with her beloved dog, Lucy. She enjoyed watching movies and television, especially court tv shows. Together, Lori and Gary enjoyed going fishing. Often, she would catch the bigger fish. Lori had a beautiful personality, contagious smile, and never met a stranger.
Survivors include her loving husband of 34 years, Gary; daughters, Shanon (fiancé, Tommy Hagy) Wilson, Adel, GA, and Shala (Warren) Juster, Sylvester, GA; grandchildren, Dakota and Jazmine Wilson, Josie Hagy, due in December, Riley Kelly, Grant, and Eli Juster; sisters, Linda Wilkins Bowers, Tulsa, OK, and LeAnn Lucas, Matherville, IL; brother, Jason (Cindy Boone) Wilkins, Bettendorf, IA; stepmother, Shirley Wilkins, Davenport, IA; nephews, Justin Bowers and Sean Lucas; nieces, Taylor Petersen and Alexandra Lucas; mother and father-in-law, Betty and Gary Pierce; sister-in-law, Raeanne Christiansen; and lifelong childhood friend, Sue Hensley Webster.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Joan.
