Loy Frances Harris, 96, of Moline died July 25, 2007 at her home.
A graveside service will be 10:00a.m. Monday, July 30, 2007 at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Anyone wishing to attend should go directly to the cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline is assisting the family.
Loy was born March 18, 1911 in Browning, MO to Russell and Mary Susan Kennedy Martin. She married Charles Norman Harris on June 15, 1929 in Browning, MO. They were married 72 wonderful years. She and Charles raised their family in Carbon Cliff, IL. He preceded her in death on January 7, 2002.
Loy worked many years at and retired from the Rock Island Arsenal. Loy was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved flowers, birds and nature.

Daughters Norma Ashley East Moline
Mildred Van Houtte Colona
11 grandchildren 12 great grandchildren
21 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Edwin, Lester and Ken and a sisters Coy and Hazel.
The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregivers Dru Count, Betty Colvin, and her son and daughter-in-law Charles and Betty Harris, they are Angels!
