Lucille Ferguson, 89 of East Moline, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 6th, 2010 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 10:00 until service time. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park. Dr. Thomas Ferguson, Rev. Andrew Ferguson and Rev. Renee Holm will officiate. Memorials may be made to Living Hope Community Church, Davenport, Iowa.
Lucille was born on September 23, 1920 in Richmond, Indiana to Elmer and Agnes Francis Horn. She attended Geneseo and Annawan High Schools graduating in 1938. She attended Moline Community College and had been employed by the Hornsby stores in Geneseo and Freshpak, Moline. She married William Ferguson in Geneseo on June 29, 1940. He preceded her in death on September 26, 2003.
She enjoyed decorating and reading the Bible. She was a member of Moline Gospel Temple and Living Hope Community Church where she was very active in church life. At the Moline Gospel Temple she served the Deaconess group both as a leader and member for many years. She served the calling program for years and her favorite "Monday Committee" for over thirty years. At Living Hope she served her gift of hospitality as a greeter. Her favorite appointment each week was Tuesday lunch with her two sisters. Her two children, Sue and Tom, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren were the center of Lucille's entire life.

Several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Sue Berthoud, granddaughter Nicole Berthoud and two brothers, Earl and Charles Horn.
