Lucille M. Griffee, 99, resident of Oak Glen Home, formerly of East Moline died Sun. May 4, 2008 at Oak Glen Home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2008 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, Moline or Oak Glen Home.
Lucille was born February 26, 1909 in Peoria, IL to Harry F. and Mayme (Johnston) Murray. She married Homer F. Griffee on August 25, 1931 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on September 10, 1990.
Lucille was a secretary for the First Christian Church, Moline. She was an active member in her church where she was also the Chairman of Deaconesses. She also volunteered for the American Cancer Society.

Grandsons Peter (Kris) Dobbeck Waukesha, WI
Kurt (Heidi) Dobbeck Elgin, IL
9 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Barbara Dobbeck, parents, brother Ken Murray and sisters Ila Darling and Anita Close.
