Lucille Lorraine (Anderson) Johnson 97, of Andover, IL, died Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis, IL
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 4, 2016, at Augustana Lutheran Church, 628 – 6th Street, Andover, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Private Family Burial will be Andover Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Augustana Lutheran Church. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory is assisting the family.
Lucille was born on February 1, 1919 in Mankato, Minnesota, to Ferdinand Richard & Lili Marie Eggert Anderson. She was educated in Andover schools and then graduated from Moline High School. She married Kenneth L.B. (Doc) Johnson on June 7, 1941. He preceded her in death on July 1, 1970
Lucille was employed in offices of former Lutheran Children’s Home and Montgomery Elevator Company in Moline. She was confirmed in and was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church and the Peace Circle. She was also a member of Andover Historical Society, the Altar Guild of the Church, McGuffey Readers of Orion Library, Greenpeace, and Cousteau Societies & Thoreau Society.
Lucille loved reading and walking, music and nature study, her family & friends, and small animals.

Great-Grandchildren: Raine & Mavrik

She was preceded in death by her parents & husband.
