Lucille Caroline Reid, 96, of Hampton, IL, died Friday, November 03, 2017, at home.
Private services will be held at a later time, interment will be at the National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Peace Lutheran Church in Port Byron, IL. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family with arrangements.
Lucille was born on August 20, 1921, in Cambridge, IL, the daughter of Harry C. and Mabel Anderson Carlson. She married John G. Reid on April 14, 1945, in Cambridge, and he preceded her in death in 2001.
Lucille loved her church, Peace Lutheran. She also loved to golf and listen to country music. More than anything, Lucille loved to spend time with her family, friends, and dog, Coco.
Survivors include her children, Cathy J. Slonecker (Frank), Hampton, IL, Connie J. Reid Lee (Frederick), Annandale, VA, and John M. Reid (Lisa), Moline, IL; 9 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters.
