Luis T. Torres, 75, of Moline, died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at his residence.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, May 23, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Moline. Visitation will be from 5:00 ~ 8:00 P.M., Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline with a Rosary at 4:30 P.M. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to Luis' family.
Luis was born on November 17, 1935 in San Nicolas GTO Mexico to Jose and Carmen Torres. He married Consuelo Trigueros in San Nicolas GTO Mexico.
Luis retired from Augustana College where he was a sports equipment manager and an avid sports fan. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Moline. He was very active in the Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure.
