Luke D. Wassell, 28, of Largo, FL, formerly of Port Byron, IL, died Sunday, November 10, 2013, at Suncoast Hospice Care Center, Pinellas Park, FL.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013, at Heritage Church, 4801 44th Street, Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to his family.
Luke was born on August 28, 1985, in Iowa City, IA, the son of Daniel and Dawn (Winthurst) Wassell. He married Renae Edwards on July 30, 2011, in Florida.
Luke worked as a Service Agent for the Tampa International Airport. He enjoyed bowling, bike riding, baseball, playing the piano, traveling, cooking, and spending time at the beach. More than anything, Luke loved spending time with his family.
