Lynn Bedard

Judith Lynn Bedard, 83, of Bettendorf, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023, at UnityPoint Health Trinity, Bettendorf.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday November 10, 2023, at First Evangelical Free Church, 3321 7th St, Moline.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services.  Private burial will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Pregnancy Resources or First Evangelical Free Church.

Lynn was born on January 26, 1940, in Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of Herman and Mattie Vance (Archer) Weinberger. She married William Bedard Jr. on December 9, 1961, in Appleton, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on August 21, 2015. Lynn, alongside Bill, was the former owner, and operator of Quality Roofing from 1984-1996. She later worked for Family Psychology for 16 years, retiring in 2012. She was an active member of First Evangelical Free Church and was involved in BSF Bible Study and the Christian Women’s Club. Lynn enjoyed sewing, reading, and making handmade cards to share with loved ones. Above all, she loved being with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Stacy Zmuda; grandchildren, Caleb (Gloria) Zmuda, Scott Zmuda, Bethany Zmuda; great granddaughter, Eliana Judith; sister, Carol Ingersoll.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Scott; and sister, Betty French.
