M. Lorraine. Karns, age 79 of Colona died Saturday, August 19, 2006 at Genesis Medical Center-Illini Campus, Silvis.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at Bethel Assembly of God, Rock Island.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. on Monday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park.
Lorraine was born September 21, 1926 in Streator, IL the daughter of Clarence Walford and Ethel E. (Aaronson) Carlson. She married Louis Russell Karns on January 17, 1947 at Memorial Christian Church.
Lorraine was honored as Mother and Sunday School Teacher of the Year. She had a beautiful voice and passion for singing that she passed on to her children. Lorraine loved sharing and expressing her faith with family and friends.
