Mabel V. West, age 84 formerly of Moline died May 20, 2004 in Puyallup, WA.
There will be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 4, 2004 at Rose Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline, IL. Rev. Chris Meyer will be officiating the service. Esterdahl Mortuary, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline is assisting the family. The family requests that no flowers or memorials be made.
Mabel was born June 26, 1919 in Moline, IL the daughter of Walter L and Marie Viola Whitmore Brown. She was married to Charles Catterton, Sr. and later Floyd F. West, both of whom have preceded her in death.
Mabel owned and operated the Villa Park Cafe in Moline with her first husband. She moved to Washington state in 1961.
She enjoyed all kinds of crafts and sewing; writing poetry and stories to be incorporated into her genealogy.
