Madeline J. Lenning

Madeline J. Lenning, 71, of Orion, IL, died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Trinity Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., 1301-4thSt., Orion. Visitation will be 4-7 Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Western Township Cemetery. It was Madeline's wishes that there be no flowers, but rather memorials may be made to her family.
Madeline was born on November 26, 1940 in Iowa. She married Robert E. Lenning in October of 1959 at First Congregational Church, Moline.
Madeline was a self-taught artist and painter. She was an associate member of Orion United Methodist Church. She loved to help people and was active in volunteer work throughout the community, the church, senior citizens and the former Oak Glen Home.
