Magdeline Van "Linda" Cleemput

Magdeline "Linda" Van Cleemput, age 89, of Moline died Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Trinity Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf.
Linda was born July 13, 1921, in Tama, IA, the daughter of Alphonse and Emma Geyssens Dhooge. She married Albert O. "Al" Van Cleemput on August 24, 1947. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2011. They were married for 64 years and the celebration of their lives will be together.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m.Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 12:00-1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial is at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's "Preserving our Parish Home" Capital Campaign, Moline, or masses.
Linda volunteered for over 35 years with the area Red Cross, Moline Public and Lutheran Hospitals, and later with her husband at Trinity. She enjoyed CANDY, crocheting, feeding the birds, and loved animals in general. Linda had a wonderful sense of humor, and a kind heart. She was a care taker for her husband, Al for many years.
