Marcia L. Mitchell, age 70, of Silvis, died Friday, January 1, 2010 at Trinity Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf.
A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Heritage Wesleyan Church, Rock Island. Visitation is Monday from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Inurnment is in the National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made to the family for a college trust fund.
Marcia was born September 7, 1939 in Moline the daughter of Frank and Ebba Schold Fenno.
She married Bob Young. He preceded her in death in 2008. She married Fran Sheridan. He preceded her in death in 2009. She married Patrick Mitchell. He preceded her in death in 1993.
Marcia had been employed at Cosgrave Pharmacy, Amiteck, Warren Chevrolet and as a clerk for Eagle Food Services. She was a 1957 graduate of United Township High School. Marcia was a member of Heritage Wesleyan Church in Rock Island.
SURVIVORS: Daughter Kristen Young (Craig Lennon) of Moline, Grandsons Nick and Ben Lennon, Brother Frank Fenno (Sara) of Colona, Cousin Janice Reynolds of Tennessee, Step-Daughter of Rebecca Nickell of Loami, IL, Step-Grandchildren Rita and Rachael Nickell, Nieces, a nephew and numerous cousins.
