Mardelle Konstant was born in Moline, IL, on October 8, 1941, the only child of Henry John and Matie Freda (Schmidt) Konstant of Rock Island, IL. She graduated from Moline High School in 1959, and served as a pianist at Moline Gospel Temple until leaving for LIFE Bible College in Los Angeles, CA. She was licensed as a Minister of the Foursquare Gospel in June of 1964. She became the Director of Youth and music at Community Chapel in Balboa, in the Panama Canal Zone from 1965-1967.
She also taught piano during that time, and was employed at J-5 Directorate, United States Southern Command, Quarry Heights, Canal Zone. She returned to the States in 1968. In 1969 she moved to Sacramento, CA. and worked with the Assemblies of God Missionettes Program. She enjoyed working with crafts in Vacation Bible School. Wherever she went she enjoyed Gospel music, singing in choirs and serving as a pianist.
In 1992 she moved back to Moline to serve on staff at Moline Gospel Temple. She was a charter member of CornerStone Christian Fellowship active in the choir and in the Gospel According to Scrooge. Her greatest joy was playing the piano as part of a six-part worship team.
