Margaret Rowena Hicks

Margaret Rowena Hicks, 83 of Moline, passed away April 15, 2010 at Trinity Pathway Hospice at Trinity Bettendorf.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., April 19th at Riverside United Methodist Church, 712-16th Street, Moline. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be in National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church.
Rowena was born on February 24, 1927 near Centerville, Iowa the daughter of Orville Aten and Madge Pauley Brattain. She married Ralph Lee on September 26, 1947 in Moline. He preceded her in death on March 5, 1989.
Rowena was employed in the clerical/support division of Deere & Company retiring in 1987. She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church and the Ladies Circle of the church. She thoroughly enjoyed her family, reading and walking around the neighborhood.
Survivors include her daughter Linda and Steve Skinner of Surprise, AZ and her son Mark and Susan Hicks of Moline; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; her sister Colleen Ernst of San Diego, CA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister Loretta Lawton and her great-grandchild Kylie Skinner.
